On Nov. 18, 2019 your contract negotiation team met with hospital management for our 3rd bargaining session. We received a full proposal from hospital management that included economics. Grays Harbor Community Hospital is proposing a 1 year contract with no wage increases, elimination of sick leave in its current form, mandatory call for low census and changes to vacation language.
Our next meeting with hospital management is set for Dec. 13, 2019.
Before we meet with hospital management, we want to hear from the membership!
We have scheduled a local unit meeting on Dec. 2, 2019. There will be two 1‑hour sessions. The first session will be from 5:30 — 6:30 p.m. The second session will be from 7:30 — 8:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in Conference Room C. Please note that this meeting date has been changed from the previously advertised Dec. 5 date.
Each session will begin promptly, however the WSNA representatives will be happy to answer questions and listen to feedback at the completion of each session.
