Your WSNA Team of Regis­tered Nurses met with Evergreen Admin­is­tra­tion and Manage­ment for the 12th bargaining session on Tuesday, March 12. The employer offered a proposal that made slight movement in wages but fell short of the mark in other areas that are of great impor­tance to our bargaining team, such as safe staffing. WSNA is pressing to reach an agree­ment on improved workplace violence language in addition to protecting Per Diem rights and benefits. Recog­nizing the hurdles on both sides, we have mutually agreed to seek the assis­tance of a PERC Mediator and will schedule our next session as soon as is possible for all parties.
