Your WSNA team of regis­tered nurses met with Evergreen­Health admin­is­tra­tion for our 14th session. This repre­sented the 2nd session that was assisted by a Federal Mediator. Both parties exchanged desired changes and ideas but little progress was realized at the end of the day.

We agreed to meet again for a full day session on May 28. Your negoti­a­tion team of WSNA regis­tered nurses continues to dedicate their exper­tise and experi­ence to the process. They also are volun­teering their time without any compen­sa­tion for their hundreds of hours of efforts.

The prior­i­ties that remain for our team include fair wages that retain and recruit excel­lent nurses, better staffing language and more complete workplace violence language.
