The hospital has come to your Local Union Leaders requesting that we delay the April 1, 2020 three percent (3%) raise until July in the hope of minimizing lay-offs or low census (daily layoffs) during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are solic­iting your feedback. Would you be willing to agree to a delay of your raise if it was condi­tioned on the hospital’s agree­ment to provide paid admin­is­tra­tive leave (so you don’t have to burn your own accrued time) to nurses who are unable to work because of exposure or poten­tial exposure to COVID-19?
